For those of you who resent Social Security recipients, you need to understand that those 'selfish old geezers' have worked and contributed to Social Security for a lifetime. Today, it is a liability to the Federal Government because it owes the "geezers" their money. Unfortunately, decades of waste and mismanagement by the Federal Government leaves it no way of paying back those "selfish old geezers" their money, without taxing all of us more heavily.
