Rabbi David Wolpe was afforded the honor of giving the closing benediction on Wednesday evening at the Democratic National Convention. However, there were only a smattering of attendees who had the courtesy to remain to listen to him.
Of course team Obama, Clinton, Pelosi, Reid and company had rudely left the convention before the closing benediction was delivered, but as a consolation they did leave behind their signature empty chairs.
But why would one expect the gang of conventioneers, who roundly booed G-d, to waste their time listening to a rabbi of all people invoke the name of G-d.

Tonight I guess we'll be treated to hearing the closing benediction given by an Imam, so the Democrats can prove to everyone and convince themselves just how very tolerant they are. Undoubtedly the Imam's prayer will be accompanied by the explosive burst of applause of a full house.
