The riots of the savage mobs and the slaughter of Americans in Libya was supposedly sparked by a video on YouTube which denigrated Mohammed. NOT TRUE!
As it turns out the reports by the media were wrong. The US has confirmed that the attacks on the US Embassy were planned to coincide with 9/11 long before the video was posted. And now there are riots throughout the Middle East by Muslims whose sensibilities have been hurt. So it looks like the policy of apology and appeasement by the Obama administration has resulted in a total debacle of our foreign policy and prestige. In the words of that great American patriot, The Wrong Reverend Jeremiah Wright, "The chickens have come home to roost". But this time they are not the same chickens to which he was referring.
But that is not all that the mainstream media got wrong.
They reported several very damaging reports without verifying their veracity.
1. They reported that the video was produced by an American-Israeli. NOT TRUE!
2. They reported that the video was financed with 5 million dollars from Jews. NOT TRUE!
3. They reported that there were many Jews who supported the project financially. NOT TRUE!
What is true is that the video was produced and financed by an Egyptian.
The headlines were smeared all over the mainstream media with false accusations of Jews, Americans and Israelis being the producers of the video.
I think the same media, which tripped all over itself to wrongly report on the events and participants, need to refute their false accusations not with back page whispers but with blaring headline featuring an unmistakable blast of the truth.
Don't hold your breath, that would take honesty, integrity and a sense of fairness from the mainstream media which as of late has had a very casual relationship with the truth and absolutely no credibility.
